Return Policy
GAME UNIVERSE offers a 7 day return policy on selected items based on manufacturer return policies provided the product is still sealed. For further information not listed, please contact your GAME UNIVERSE Sales Representative.
Non Faulty Returns.
GAME UNIVERSE has a 7 day from invoice, no quibble policy for product returns provided the product is still sealed. "Non-Faulty" allows you to return product (without query) that have been received and is not required. This may be the result of an incorrect order or you have cancelled your order too late to stop shipping.
To return this type of product you should:
* Complete an Return Request Form within 7 days of receiving the item or goods received. You can request a Return Request Form from a GAME UNIVERSE Sales Representative.
* Please return the product to the address detailed on the Return Request Form that we will email to you within seven days of contact.
* Please do not open, write or mark the product outer case as it may render the product un-saleable and disqualify the return authority.
* You should arrange and pay for shipping the goods to to the address detailed on the Return Request Form, except where GAME UNIVERSE has incorrectly processed your order. In that case, GAME UNIVERSE can make shipping payment to cover return of goods.
* Please be aware that this is not "Sell or Return" and requests must be received within 7 days of invoice date.
Special Conditions
Product supplied on a "No Return" basis can not be returned to GAME UNIVERSE unless the product is faulty within the warranties imposed by statute and which cannot be excluded by agreement.

Please call us on 06 7544995 or e-mail our Service Department at merchant@gameuniverse.co.nz to obtain a Return Request Form to complete and return for approval before shipping your product. NO returns of any type will be accepted without a completed and approved Return Request Form. For faster service, please have the following information on hand when calling for a Return Request Form: customer name, invoice number, product name, and nature of the problem.
Product Condition!!
All products returned MUST: be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, have original key codes on the manufacturer boxes, contain all manuals, and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer.
As you will understand, we can only accept product returns which are unopened and in pristine condition.
Courier Charge
Customers responsible for shipping charges on returned items; GAME UNIVERSE will match your shipping method on your replacement or exchange item(s).
Insurance
GAMEUNIVERSE.CO.NZ strongly recommends you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery for your protection.
Damaged On Arrival
If merchandise arrives damaged: it is best to REFUSE it back to the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure it is noted on the carriers delivery record in order for GAME UNIVERSE to file a damage claim. Save the goods AND the original box and packing it arrived in, notify GAME UNIVERSE immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged goods. If you do not notify GAME UNIVERSE of damaged goods within the first 5 days of arrival, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions. Call 06 7544995 or your GAME UNIVERSE Sales Representative to arrange for carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged goods.
Faulty Product
DEFECTIVE returns can be returned directly to GAME UNIVERSE within 14 days from the invoice date, at Game Universes discretion for: credit, replacement, exchange or repair.
